The whole world would have us believing that the Allah of the Muslim religion is the same as the Christian God. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The translation of Allah is loosely ‘the god’ and in no way is the same as the Christian God of Creation. Allah is ‘the god of the moon’, the Christian God’s creation. If you don’t believe it, then look it up! The Christian’s in this world are being mislead.
As in the past, in Elijah’s time as when he went up against the followers of Baal, Satan wishes to mislead people into following the Creation, instead of The Creator. The Muslim’s have already been doing this for generations but now the Christian Church is being mislead as well. They have been told over and over again that the God we worship is the same god that the other religion's worship.
First, The ‘god’ they worship is the god of this world, not the God who Created this world. And Second, as Christian’s we should not have a religion, but instead have a relationship with the Creator of the Universe. If you were to let someone inside you to have complete control over you and your actions, would you not like to have a relationship with them? A really close relationship with them.
The word Baal is translated ‘The Lord’ and that is what they were worshipping. God The Creator was angry over the way the priests of Baal and the King Ahab and his wife Jezebel had led so many astray from the true God and his following. Just as it was in Elijah’s day, we are seeing it happening now.
Just recently, The Pope, leader of the largest denomination in the christian churches, called for all denominations to put aside their differences and join together and become one church. He also called for the church to be more ‘inclusive’ of those groups, like the homosexuals, who do not live by the beliefs held by those who believe in the Bible, The Word of God.
Basically, The Pope both called for the church to do away with it’s worship practices, and to include the ones God The Creator had called an abomination in His Sight. God did not use the word abomination about many things, but the few things He felt very strongly about. in the over 788,000 words in the Bible, Abomination is only used 166 times and often is depicting the same thing when mentioned. This is less than 3 thousandths of the entire scriptures so these times must have been important.
Both of these things had been spoken of by Jesus and others in their prophecies of the End Times and the things to come. We were to experience a time likeunto that of the times of Noah. When men were lovers of self and only made passing acknowledgment of God. The world is now in that way. The Southern United States, where I live, Is one of the last places where the true Christian Faith is practiced. In the rest of this nation and in the rest of the world the majority of people are secular or only give passing acknowledgment of God in their lives. We are living in dangerous times.
Are we in the End Times?

Who is the Greatest?
This is near to the end of time as we know it but though it is important to know it is almost here, should we be concerned with the how and when, or should we be busy out attempting to win souls? The more people we bring to Christ and His Kingdom before it becomes too late, is the amount of crowns we will have laid up for us to cast at the Savior's feet when we get there.
Don’t fool yourself that you will receive a bigger mansion or more servants or be a greater leader, if you win more souls here. Your place in Heaven is determined by how much you serve here on earth. To serve others is the main goal of any true born again believer. We must be greater servants here, to be greater in position there.
Jesus explained it all in His explanation of Who is the greatest. In Matthew 18:1-5, Mark 9:33-37, and Luke 9:46-48, Jesus likened the believers in His Kingdom to come as little children, who innocently and trustingly let us lead them where we may, because they innocently look up to us and trust us to do what is right for them. We should be the same way in our belief and trust in Jesus. And just as them we should willingly step out and help those around us in whatever way we can. It may be monetarily or it may be with our time and effort.
Jesus then, in all three passages, goes on in the following verses to warn us about the judgement for anyone that leads one of these little ones astray, meaning both the little children and the children who like us are learning about the whole meaning of Jesus and what He did for us. This is a warning about children and Believers alike. No one should cause either to sin against God by their actions or their behaviors. Let us act in public view as though everyone was watching at all times, because the Father God is always watching.
In all things we should act as though we are servants of the Lord Most High and serve our brothers and sisters around us. The greatest servant among us will be the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Are we in the end times- Isaiah 2
In the second chapter of Isaiah he speaks further of the things to come in the last days. Isaiah speaks of a mountain that houses The Lord’s temple and that it will be built on the mountain and the peoples will stream to it theologians believe that this may speak to the rebuilding of the temple, on the temple mount in Jerusalem. That many peoples will stream to it to see it and after the Lord Jesus returns and judges the people, swords will be beaten into plowshares and peace will come upon the earth again.
Then Isaiah goes into the future of Israel. He again tells Israel to prepare for being taken over by the Philistines to the east and the Syrians, that Israel will be enslaved by them as punishment by God for their Pagan rituals they have picked up to be more like the foreigners they brought into their families. They put the creations of man above the creations of God and above the God who made all things. Again this is much as we have allowed it to be today. As in times of great oppression, the people will have to hide themselves in caves and holes in the ground. Pointing again to the end times and the people attempting to hide themselves from the return of the Lord for they know they have fallen short. As we see in the Revelation chronicles.
All those who are arrogant and will not be humbled by the Lord, will be laid low and be made ashamed at the way they have oppressed those who believe on Christ. All the great and mighty wonders of the world will not be able to compare to the grandeur of the Lord and His army of believers. So much so that even the inanimate things that people hold in awe of will be humbled by the appearing of the Lord. What man thought to be a great achievement will be like nothing compared to the return of the Lord. All the things we are impressed by will be nothing compared to Jesus.
The people will run to the caves and hide underneath the rocks to try and escape the Lord. Nothing will work. the book of Revelation says that men will even ask for the rocks and mountains to fall on them and cover them up so God won’t see them. Isaiah then warns Israel to not trust in Man and the things of man, God is the one who gave him life, what good then are his words?

The beginning, Isaiah 1:1.
If we are worried about the events of today and how they match up with the prophesies in the Bible from the Prophets and in revelation then maybe we need to get right with Jesus right now. The Bible says in Isaiah 55:9 that God’s thoughts are so much higher than our thoughts that we will never have a chance of understanding His plan. We can only tell by the prophecies coming true that the time of Christ’s return is very near. We, as Christians, see these things being fulfilled and await our redemption from the tribulation to come.
To look at what the Bible says about the things going on today. We begin by looking at what the Prophets said about Jerusalem and see how it parallels today. In Isaiah 1, starting at verse 1 we see Isaiah is introducing himself and saying these ‘visions’ came to him during the reign of four different Kings of Judah. The King of Judah at the time of the start of the book is Uzziah, and it was a time of great prosperity for Judah. They had beaten the Philistines, secured several trade routes and increased Judah’s wealth greatly.
Uzziah was known as a good King who did right by the Lord, he was punished though by the Lord and given leprosy. After he got leprosy he kept himself indoors and let his son Jotham reign in his stead, Uzziah was still believed to be the power behind the throne at the time.
The prophesies began in the next verse, 2, and went on from there. Israel was becoming corrupt in its prosperity. It had rebelled against The Lord and Isaiah was telling them that they had began breaking all the laws of the Ten Commandments and worshiping other gods. They were guilty of turning their backs on the Lord, and denying the prosperity The Lord had provided.
Israel had so turned away from The Lord, that Isaiah began to represent them as a servant that was beaten and for no longer obeying its master, in this case, The Lord God. Though Israel was still prosperous they were allowing more and more encroachment by foreigners and needed to turn back to God before it is too late. The problems that Israel went through are a mirror that we can look to for where we are headed. Jotham, Uzziah’s son reigned as King for the last few years of Uzziah’s life before taking over completely after his father’s death.
While Jotham was a good king like his father, he and Judah let their wealth control them, rather than controlling their wealth. Isaiah prophesied here that there would be a desolation of the lands, which later came to pass as the northern lands were invaded and destroyed by the Assyrian army and even later by the Babylonians. Isaiah warns that Jerusalem is vulnerable and open to attack and that even after it was, God would leave a remnant to keep the land in Israel’s hands ultimately. Many times over the years, Israel has been taken over and cast into slavery or servant-hood for a conquering nation but always, a remnant remained behind to eventually restart the nation.
Isaiah goes on to say The Lord sees all the sacrifices made to Him by the people of Israel, but is not impressed by the many things they have done for Him. If the people continue in their worship of other gods while they still attempt to worship Him, it is an abomination to Him. Israel is God’s special people, promised by Him and protected by Him. None other can make this claim or lay hold to it and none other will be spared the tribulation that is to come.
In Isaiah 1:15 The Lord has to hide His face from the evil going on in His peoples nation, once God has turned His face away, there is ample time for the devil to sneak in and twist the people further away from God. They are stained with sin, liken a greasy rag they have been corrupted and the only hope for them is the forgiveness of God through the Blood.
Isaiah 1:18 says for the people to come reason with God and cleanse themselves from the stains of their sins against God. They are warned by the time they reach verse 20, that if they resist or rebel against God they will end up being devoured by the sword. Their future is theirs to make, either follow God or be taken over.
In verse 21 Isaiah compares Jerusalem to a harlot selling herself to other gods and following foreigners ways and religions. The United States is doing much the same thing, as we turn away from the God that has protected us for so long, and rely instead on our own resources. It is only a matter of time before the judgement of God will come upon us.
Some people may say, if Israel was so prosperous at the time, why was Isaiah so down on them and making such a fuss over their small sins. The reason was two fold. One, because to not recognize small sins will give them the chance to grow into big sins that could and will destroy a nation. Second, because he was prophesying the future that was to come, the bad things that their sins would lead too.
Isaiah then warns Israel that their good things will become ‘watered down’ like watered down wine, is one example he gives in verse 22. As they continue on they will be corrupted by foreign nations and slowly invaded by their beliefs.
But the Lord will cleanse them like the chaff is taken away from the grain, or the dross from the silver is burnt away. So they must go through the fire to be refined and purified. Israel will be redeemed by the justice of the penitent ones with righteousness, she will be refined by the fire she must go through. God will make them presentable again.
These prophesies are for the nation of Israel and have already been fulfilled but the United States can learn from the history of Israel, and keep the USA from being destroyed. As the United States is never mentioned in the end time prophesies, I must gather that the US no longer exists as a powerful force in the world. We are on a heading that will lead us to that. Russia is mentioned in a round about way so i know they will still be here. The USA is never mentioned though. The history of Israel is something we can either learn from or the USA is destined to have it happen to us.Pray that our country will wake up before it is too late.
